OMG, Recently I went to a live in-person trade show; the first one in 17 months! It was the Housewares Summer Preview. So this week & next week we'll be talk about new gadgets for the kitchen, the bar and we'll even learn about some new accessories for the doggie set! We'll start with a Highly Rated Multi-Cooker.

It's the Zavor LUX LCD 6 Quart Programmable Electric Multi-Cooker.

I stopped by the Zavor booth because I had read that their Lux LCD Multi- Cooker was highly praised by Consumer Reports and by America's Test Kitchen. I've never used a Multi-Cooker because I mostly boil water and I already have a pot for that. But here's some info on what Zavor Lux can do, provided by the company. Featured functions: Pressure Cook (high and low), Slow Cook (high and low), Steam, Saute, Flex (that allows Sous Vide), Simmer, Yogurt, Grains, Eggs, Dessert, Keep Warm and Time Delay to program cooking time at your convenience. There are regular ice cubes and then there are clear ice cubes for special drinks. (Who knew?)

Chad's final gadget his June theme as picked by our loyal Patreon members.

The June Theme is “Cheap Gadgets from Alibaba”, the king of cheap stuff on the Internet. On this week's show Chad played What The Heck Is It? with this gadget and all of us were baffled. It turns out the tiny, strange looking gadget could be quite helpful. It's an Mini Emergency Phone Charger. It works with 2 AA or AAA Batteries. It comes with a Micro-USB Interface, and a Lightning and MicroUSB to C Adapter, so it can charge most small recharageable devices.

And Chad's take: Chad was impressed with this gadget. It's magnetic so it holds the batteries in place quite securely as you'll see when he demos it. It sure is mini in size. And it's likely you'll have 2 AA or AAA batteries handy, or can find some easily. It uses two batteries to become a small power bank. Chad has no idea how long it would take to charge a device, but we were impressed it actually did show it was charging Chad's Switch. Chad paid about $4.00 and $2.50 shipping. They're are lots of other options for this on Alibaba and you can find it on Amazon for under $13 something. (I just ordered one on Amazon so I can get it in one day rather than 30 to 60 Alibaba delivery days.)

It's a short video about a gadget we talked about on the show many years ago. We had better luck than Adam did. 

Adam said he bought it about year ago. It came from an auction house where you must pick up whatever you buy within days of winning the bid. Adam added: I think they (the auction house) gets Amazon returns and resales them.

Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it's a copy. We've tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
