Giz Wiz Show 1715 February 21, 2019 Independent Show #197

Happy Anniversary To Us!!! With this show Giz Wiz starts year 13 & 5th year of Independent Production! (First Giz Wiz show was February 20th, 2006.) Thanks to our wonderful Patreon supporters we continue on! If it wasn't for them, the Giz Wiz Show would be gone. If you'd like to support OMGchad & DickDe in our independent venture (we pay for everything ourselves, including travel) just click the Patreon link at the top of our show web page http://www.gizwiz.tv. You can also contribute just once via the PayPal link that's there too. Thank you for doing that! Our show wouldn't exist without our viewer's support, but a bit more support would be a big help. Thanks from OMGchad & DickDe!
This week we cover to one of our favorite shows of the year --- Toy Fair 2019! (Javits Center, NYC.)
The very first thing we saw at Toy Fair was Oobleck! What The Heck Is It? Is it a liquid? Is it a solid? Yes, it is. It's both. What I learned at Toy Fair 2019 is that Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning it acts as both a liquid and a solid. You can pound your hand on it (as you'll see on this week's show) and your fist will just bounce off it. And after you do that you can scoop it and roll it into a ball (as a solid), and then it can even ooze out of your hand (like a liquid)! Comes in a variety of colors. I jokingly asked if it could be eaten and the answer is, you probably don't want to, but you could because it's said to contains only non-toxic and washable materials. The kits will be under $10 and available in colors. But the kit was not on the company website as of 2/19/19, it's not going to be available till Summer 2019.
Now it turns out the recipe to make Oobleck is not a secret and there are lots of recipes online. I list one below. Here's a video I found where folks walk on, or sink into Oobleck.

Lots of recipes for Oobleck online - it's really simple to make it seems. Here's just one:
