Pie-Face, Toilet Troubles and the lastest 'get wet, or get creamed' game is Egged On!

Egged On is a twist on the popular egg roulette challenge in which players try to avoid getting wet by the cracked egg. It's a hilarious and suspenseful game in which players spin the spinner, follow the commands, and press their luck. Players take turns picking plastic eggs and pressing them on their heads. Some of the eggs are filled with water and and then randomly placing them in the carton, alongside empty eggs. Players never know which one they've got in their hand. Spin the spinner to find out what to do next. Players might have to egg themselves, egg another player, or do nothing. Players who get splashed are out of the game and the 'yolk' is on them. Take a chance on playing the 'lucky' egg way, and fill only one egg with water. Instead of being out of the game, the player who gets splashed by that egg wins! Includes plastic egg carton, 10 refillable plastic eggs, spinner (with plastic arrow and base), and game rules. MSRP: $19.99. As of 5/9/17 this is one of the few times it's more money on Amazon then elsewhere. So try Target or ToysRUs.

Just in time for summer fun - Zuru Bunch of Balloons Filler/Soaker

Zuru says this 'dangerous' Bunch of Balloons Filler/Soaker is sure to take water fights to the next level! Using the pump you can fill up your Bunch O Balloons at any location. Bring your water fight to the beach, the park or even the swimming pool and let the fun explode! When you’re all out of water balloons, don’t let the fight end! Fill up your Hydro Blaster and drench your target from almost 30ft away!! Water fights just got way more extreme! And something I found really clever is that all the water balloons are self-tying! (Done automatically with mini-rubber bands.) Biodegradable & Recyclable. 105 Bunch O Balloons Included. The instructions say there are actually a bit more than 35 balloons in each bunch. The extras are there to make up for any of the other balloons that don't fill properly. MSRP $24.99. (Higher on Amazon as of 5/10/17, but under $25 at ToysRUs.

Chad's Crappy Corner & His New Theme For May 2017, Pet Gadgets

Chad polled our amazing Patreon members and asked them to vote on a theme for May. Their choice “cheap pet gadgets”. This week Chad's cheap pet gadget is the Coleman Pet Treat Launcher. Here's what Amazon says about it:

You will have the happiest and fittest dog in the neighborhood with the Coleman Treat Launcher! Fill the easy-to-load Launcher with your pet's favorite treats and the spring-action trigger will shoot them over 10 feet away. Wrist strap for convenient carrying. $9.99.

And Chad's take: Chad said you have to pick the right size treat to put into the Treat Launcher or it will jam. When you watch this episode you'll see Charlie's reaction to it. The Treat Launcher seems to fire the treat very fast and pretty far away. Every time to sent a treat flying, he pretty much had to point out where it landed to Charlie. And the wrist strap? It had one, but it's so small, Chad couldn't get it on his wrist! So this gadget wasn't a big hit with either Charlie or Chad, who rates it 'officially crappy'.

Dick's Gadget Warehouse & How to Submit Your Viewer Video.

Hey Dick and Chad. Buddy Yates again. Multi-time submitter here but this art project is too cool to not show you. This not a warehouse video but a 2 minute update to an old warehouse video.

The YouTube link is: https://youtu.be/FZ67VYK4WO8

BACKGROUND INFO FROM BUDDY: You may be wondering why I’m wiring this rope light to some plywood. Well, here is an update to an old warehouse video. In episode 1601 you guys showed my video of an eight color LED rope light that had digital effects.  I used several of them in the usual ways, under the bed, under the kitchen cabinets, and around the yard.  At that time I said each individual LED is addressable but now I know that all the white LEDs are on one wire and the RGB LEDs are in groups of six.  No matter.  (Show close-up)  The 28 effects are still pretty good.

I had this idea for an art object over my fireplace using the rope light.  It is four foot by three foot and covered with a translucent plastic panel, a textured panel, and a clear panel.  A $40 box of rope lights contains 36 feet.  This project uses 71 feet of rope so it uses two kits.  At 6 white, 6 red, 6 blue, and 6 green lights per foot, this project has 1,704 LEDs.  The remote has 28 functions and the two strings operate independently so there are more than 200 million combinations of colors and patterns.  I’ll never get bored looking at it. I added the decorative black lines so the panel is not blank when the lights are off.

By the way, the locomotive (in the video) is my fairly accurate model of Pacific Coast Railway number two that runs on G-gauge track.

I love the show.  Keep on truckin. -Buddy Yates

We’re looking for more Viewer Videos!

We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show, so here's what we're looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:

I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won't get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, "family friendly" language applies.

-

I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can't market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it's a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.

-

My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don't have a warehouse. It doesn't matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you're still hanging on to it.

-

My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.

-

Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We'll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that's unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll a tiny amount of fame (hopefully), an autographed MAD magazine and a 35-year-old Alfred E. Neuman picture. So that's one more (so-so) reason to send in your video!

IMPORTANT: We'll just shower you with praise for your video if you live outside the US or Canada since we can't afford to send stuff outside of those two places. (Thanks for understanding.)

All show submissions go to mail@gizwiz.tv

Letter of the week:

From: steve c

Say, do you know where I can find replacement straws for spray cans?

You know the straws that come taped onto the side of a can of WD40 or something like that you stick in the nozzle so you can direct the spray?  There's no place to store the stray and if I leave it stuck in the nozzle it's constantly falling out and getting lost.  I must have a dozen cans of stuff that I can't use because the straws have been lost.
