We start the show with a demo of the new free Logitech CAPTURE software, ideal for web creators.

Lots of people wish they could use more than one camera on Skype (and some other programs). Surprise! Logitech has introduced (in December 2018) a new application to simplify video content creation. It's called Logitech Capture. This great new software works with the Logitech C920, C922 and BRIO 4K Pro webcams. Logitech says: Creators can take advantage of transitions, filters and other effects and share their videos on the most popular social sites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and more. With Logitech Capture, you can record from multiple sources, meaning you can record from two webcams simultaneously or combine screen recording with your webcam feed. In my video you'll get to see how I was able to use CAPTURE. There's a lot more info on the Logitech website. Oh, one other important thing. CAPTURE is free, but only runs on Windows 7 and above.

HP Introduces A Truly High End 65" Monitor

In this week's Chad shows us his video of the HP the OMEN X Emperium 65. I wasn't there with Chad, but I found some info on this incredible monitor on the company website. Meet The Test Card - Immediate Test Results At Home Via A Smart Phone App.

TestCard is a medtech enterprise that has created a ‘Postcard’ with an embedded, pull-out urine test. An accompanying mobile app provides an immediate result. The company says that their Camera Analysis combines the accuracy of medical lab tests with the latest in mobile technology. The user simply applies urine to the pull-out strip (applicator) embedded in the postcard and, using the TestCard app, holds their mobile device above the TestCard enabling the app to deliver an immediate result. They add that medical jargon can often be confusing and can cause further patient anxiety. That's why TestCard delivers a clear interpretation of results in language that's easily understood. Given the natural tendency of the patient/consumer to delay health monitoring and screening through conventional doctor visits, TestCard fills a growing gap in the healthcare market. Chad's Crappy Corner & Another Gadget For His February Theme!

Our loyal Patreons voted and they picked “Cheap Garage Gadgets” as Chad's Theme for February. Chad's second garage gadget are reusable cable management tools.

On this week's show you'll see Chad with cable management tools from two different companies, both of which, he found at Home Depot. This is a great and inexpensive way to organize almost any sort of cable, wire, hose, etc. Chad bought the MegaCuff for larger items like hoses, ropes, cables, even sports and boating equipment, etc. Then he bought some smaller cable management devices from a different company, Cable Cuff PRO. They all seem to be constructed with Polycarbonate polymers and with a bit of Stainless Steel. None were higher in price than $3.98 on Home Depot.

And Chad's Take? Chad like the Cable Cuff Pro line better because they incorporate a hanging clip/carabiner. They also feature a Push Button and hinge. The company says their clip has self-aligning teethed jaws that automatically hold multiple open positions. And Chad found the Cable Cuff Pros were easier to use.
