Theft-Proof Backpack? I think this one is great start!

Every year for the "back-to-school" spot I try to find a unique backpack. This year I found one that not only unique, it's very inexpensive. It's the Poruary Anti-theft Backpack. That's what the hangtag on the bag says. When I first received it I thought, “This backpack has no pockets! How do you put stuff in it?” Turns out the main pocket zipper is hidden in the back of this bag, the part that is up against your back. That way there's no way a thief can get to it with you knowing about it. There's a USB Charging port and a headphone port on the outside so you can listen to music or charge a device from within the bag. Easy fits 15.6" laptop and probably some 17” laptops too. More than 10 compartments to keep all your things well organized. Made of durable waterproof and dust proof nylon and oxford fabric. I weighed the backpack empty and it was just about 2 pounds 2 ounces. Best of all, amazing low price. I paid under $20 on Amazon in August 2019. (No, it does not include the headphones & smartphones.)

While looking for helpful auto gadgets for this ABC News spot I found this device. Amazon calls it a multifunctional 6 in 1 Car Phone Charger Adapter, Seat Belt Cutter, Window Breaker, LED Torch Flashlight, Red Flashing Warming Beacon and Portable Power Bank. This could actually help save a life if you have to escape a life-threatening situation like being trapped in a sinking, over-turned, or burning car and find you can't release your seatbelt, or open a window to escape. The safeguarded sharp blade is recessed in the device to help prevent accidental injuries. A hidden pin in the charging tip acts as window breaker. Also built in the 2200 mAH rechargeable external power bank is a two level white light flashlight plus a red flashing beacon. But wait, there's more. A fold out handle on the back opens so you can use to prevent the car from rolling, perhaps when changing a tire. The price was about $15.00 on 12/25/19, but that change at any time on Amazon. There are other devices on Amazon page that look exactly like this one and they have the same description, but sell for more. If you're older you probably recognize this as a clown horm. It's also called a Bugle Retro Horn Yes, it looks like those retro clown horns, but this classic vintage metal twist hooter is a good way to let people know you're coming without scaring them with a high decibel electric horn. Plus it doesn't require batteries & there's nothing to charge. It use plain old free air found everywhere. Just squeeze the rubber ball to sound the horn. Easy to install on the handlebars of a bike, scooter, etc. I have an older friend who has one on his scooter and not only do people step out of the way, they often laugh & say something like 'great horn!'
