If you're a boater, your cell phone can provide lots of marine information and keep you in touch with friends, the marina, etc. But in an real marine emergency, the Cobra Marine MR HH 600 VHF radio can a lot more. It has the ability to know your GPS coordinates and automatically transmit them with DSC calls to notify the Coast Guard or other vessels of your exact position in case of emergency. This radio also floats and has a built-in flashlight and emergency S.O.S. strobe.
