Fall Fix-Up Gadgets I showed on World News Now.

Here's the on air spot from World News Now: http://youtu.be/A-Dj16-vt0U

Adlens Adjustable - a sort of 'do-it-yourself' eyeglasses for when you can't find your regular pair.

Adlens Work Glasses, Adjustables and Adlens Sundials are a perfect “extra pair” of glasses for travelers, lovers of the outdoors, and gadget geeks on your list. If anyone in the family loses or misplaces their eyeglasses on a trip, these lightweight glasses adjust for near, intermediate and distance vision correction. A single pair can correct over 90% of spherical errors (from -6 D to +3 D) for wearers who do not have astigmatism. They offer a truly customized fit in less than 30 seconds with just the turn of a dial. The company says they also provide a short-term solution for those suffering from fluctuating vision resulting from diabetes or following eye surgery. And of course you should be aware that these eyeglasses will not correct astigmatism. The lenses in these eyeglasses do not eliminate the need for prescription lenses. And Adlens advises that you DO NOT use these glasses for driving and/or operating heavy machinery. Also the work glasses are just that, used in work projects as a way to save your expensive glasses from harm. They're not safety glasses. In addition to work glasses there are also Adlens Sundials which offer the same easy-to-adjust fit in a sunglass version. They retail for $29.95 to $39.95, but discounts are available. I tried a pair. They work easily and seem a great solution to miss-placed glasses. The Adlens Work Glasses are exclusive to home depot and sell for for $19.95.
