Here's a leash made for a child when he or she walks the dog.

The leash an adult uses is often way too long with too big a loop for a child to handle. Janet Marlow, inventor of the Walking My Dog kids size leash said it’s the 1st kids’ sized pet leash on the market. It solves the problem of children having to use standard size leashes meant for the adult hand and height. The shorter length will give a child better communication and control of their dog. Walking My Dog kids size leash comes in three size widths for small, medium and large size dogs. Each leash is 3 ft long with a loop handle of 4 inches. The company says it’s a leap forward in safety. “With a length more appropriate for a young dog handler, the leash reduces the possibility of acceleration/ deceleration injuries.
