Another quick & easy way to repair glasses at the temple.
Before I bought that eyeglass repair kit on Amazon (above) to fix my eyeglasses, I spend hours looking for another eyeglass repair kit I had from years ago. I couldn't even remember the name of it, so I bought the one I talked about earlier in this show. Then right after I fixed my glasses I was looking in a box from Dick's Gadget warehouse and there it was - the Snapit eyeglass repair kit! It's billed as the easiest and quickest way to repair your spectacles. (Actually, it is a very clever idea.) You simply drop the extra long screw in the hinge, screw it down and snap the end off. The screw is very long, so it's easy to do. You'll see how it's down in the company video that's on this week's show. I picked this as my warehouse video, because I met the inventor ten years ago! I believe it is the lady in the video. She told me she spent $250,000 to get her product to market. Surprise! It's still available online. The kit come packaged in a little tube. The tube includes 5 screws of varying lengths and thicknesses, plus a handy screwdriver. They say it will fit 99% of all glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses. So now you have another option to fix broken glasses if it's a screw problem. And they're both under $10.
