A fast, efficient way to cook - Induction.

The PORTABLE INDUCTION 2X from FagorAmerica. Induction cooking is the most efficient way to cook. The 2X utilizes 90% of the energy produced compared to 50% used by other cooking methods. The cooking surface remains cool to the touch and there are no open flames, smoke, or gas emissions. New features of the 2X include 8 power levels, each one with a corresponding Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature. The convenient control panel includes easy-to-read digital display as well as all touch controls. The 2X cooktop recognizes the base of the cookware and directly heats only the diameter of the pot, saving you energy and money. An automatic shut off feature will turn unit off if no cookware is detected and there’s also a child safety lock. This new unit has an increased temperature range up to 465°F with 1800 watts of power! And the cooktop includes a special 9.5” Aluminum Skillet with magnetic cooking surface on the bottom. A built-in timer is programmable for up to 180 minutes. Durable, easy-to-clean glass surface. Compact Size: 11.42” x 13.98” x 2.36”. $99.99. The other portable cooktop in the video is the FagorAmerica Cooktop Pro, which has even more features, and retails for $149.99. (But it does not come with the skillet like the lower priced unit.)
