    And the winners of the Sept/Oct WTHII game with the actual answer are... 

    Seems we have a lot of DIY members in our audience. Quite a few people knew the real-answer to the Sept-Oct 'What The Heck Is It?' game. One winner even provided a link to the gadget. Here are first set of winners. There were ten with right answer:

    We also got a couple of dozen answer saying this device was used to replace bulbs. Actually, you use can't this use device to hold and screw in a bulb. It can only remove the broken off base of a bulb. But since SO MANY people sent in 'bulb changer', we picked two at random as winners:

     

    A light bulb changer for hard to reach places. I have a similar one that attaches to an extension pole to reach 12’ ceilings. It works pretty well. Jim Martin

     

    So it might be a gadget that connects to a pole that allows you to reach high light bulbs and change them without a ladder. Sid Cohen
