    Episode 921

    Zune OLED Screen
Leo was going to do the Zune HD for his pick tomorrow, and once again Dick has usurped Leo’s TTTT gadget (the last one being the Verbatim Tuff N Tiny in Episode 901).  But Leo gets to show off the OLED screen: see the video below (courtesy of odtv.me).

921 on 921: It’s All in the Planning
This week, all DGW episode numbers coincide with the dates.  That’s how well planned the Daily Giz Wiz is, all thanks to the meeting at the New York City Hudson Hotel in December 2005 when Dick and Leo discussed the idea for a daily gadget show.

Just as Henry Hudson went on a voyage looking for the Orient and ended up discovering what is now New York, poor Dick at the Hudson Hotel thought he was embarking on a gadget show and ended up doing a tragicomedy with Leo.

FM Transmitter for the Daily GizWiz
Roger Harmon is a recent convert to the Daily Giz Wiz, and experienced some problem with the iTunes feed.  There was some confusion between the Daily GizWiz and the spaced out Daily Giz Wiz, but Dane Golden had that fixed.  Roger listens to the shows on his iPod in his car using an FM transmitter, but signal is not very clear, and asks if Leo has a better recommendation.  Leo suggests trying one from Griffin (iTrip) or from Belkin (TuneCast 3), but adds that free FM signals tend to be weak in metro areas

    Second Longest Show
At 34:38, today’s show is the second longest episode so far, still almost 5 minutes short of the longest one, Episode 709, the Energizer Aluminium Alloy LED Flashlights.
