Actually, I thought it was bit big to be called a nightlight, but the actual dimensions are listed as 2.5 x 2 x 4 inches. And for its size I would say the disco light projections are rather good. But as you'll see in the video, if you really want it light ceilings and walls, they are better choices, one of which is a light cheaper and a lot brigher. But as a gag gift for under $9, this is truly unqiue. It was $8.99 and Amazon Prime as of 3/22/17 here:
