Dick’s Gadget Warehouse & How To Submit Your Video To Win An Autographed Copy of MAD Magazine.

More than 600 people watched our Virtual Halloween Special (link below) and several were wondering what I was holding at the beginning of the show. It was one of my favorite gadgets from a couple of years ago, and it still is!

It's the High Voltage Junction Box. As you'll see in the video, it has LED jumping frayed 'live' wires and sizzling sound effects. It even has a junction box door that slams open and closed when you activate the switch! It runs on 3AA batteries. There are two ways to activate it. One is with a push button that hangs out of the back of the box, and the other way is with the ON/OFF lever on the box itself. That's the more impressive way to scare the unsuspected! I bought mine on eBay for about $24.00, but since it doesn't seem to be easily available now, it sells for more like $60.
