First up on this week's show, we look at an inexpensive video light for Zoom, Skype, etc.

In a Zoom call I noticed my friend at the other end would be a dark blob if he learned forward in his chair. I suggested he get a LED light for his monitor and he asked me to suggest one. I found one on Amazon and based on the specs, bought one for the Giz Wiz Show. The brand is Selfila and it features 360 degrees of light. With the inline remote you adjust the 3200k-6500k light temperature and brightness adjustments of the 48 LED 4.6” ring. Power is via USB so it can plug directly into a port on your laptop or desktop computer. The padded clip has a maximum opening of 1.35”. This it great for improving the lighting for remote working, Zoom calls, YouTube, Skype, etc. The six illuminations are listed as Warm warm, Warm white, Natural white, Daylight, and Cold white. Within each of those are 5 levels of brightness. It's fairly small, easy enough to meet your light needs anytime, anywhere. It got decent reviews on Amazon and is under $20.00.

Ever Hear of A Cork Fish?

Well you will now! The Cork Fish is an ingenious gadget that makes retrieval of wine corks as easy as catching fish in a barrel! Just slip the flexible, strong stainless basket into the neck of the wine bottle, let the stray cork float into the basket, and pull firmly on the sturdy stainless steel handle. Voila! Out comes the cork! But wait, there's more. What if the cork has broken apart inside the wine bottle. There's a solution for that too. The Corkfish comes with a handy piece of gauze mesh stored in the handle to retrieve even tiny cork fragments. Actually, two of them, one stored in each side of the handle. Another Mini Charging Cable With An Added Feature I Haven't Seen Before.

It seems there's a demand for mini keychain charging cables and Chad & I have each reviewed a few in the past. But now I found a new one on Amazon. It's the Lever Gear Cable Kit, billed an ultra portable USB cable and accessory kit for your phone and other electronic devices. It includes a short USB charging/data cable, a secondary adapter (you pick the one you need when ordering the device), and something I've never seen in a keychain charging cable, a SIM card removal tool. The protective hard plastic carry case holds it all together in a neat little package that hooks onto your keyring or clips into your bag. Or, it seems from the reviews you can hook keys onto it and make it your keychain. It lets you connect your devices (one at a time) to your computer to charge and sync files while you work. The company says their cable is fast charge compatible but the actual speed of charging is determined by your device and power source. Under $15.00.

For his December theme Chad polled our loyal Patreon's and they picked “Cheap Stocking Stuffers”.

Chad's first stocking stuffers are from Mini Brands. If you're not familiar with them, you'll see Chad unbox, or at least open, two of them. The Mini Brands 5 Surprise Mystery Packs are fun for kids and adults too. You open the large baseball-sized gadget to reveal 5 different toys inside each one, wrapped separately. The 1^st ball Chad opened was my favorite - tiny, tiny versions of food products we all know and probably use, like Heinz yellow mustard. I won't spoil the rest of the surprises which you'll see on this week's show. 

Chad had a second stocking stuffer gift reveal, the Outdoor Survival Kit. This one was pretty disappointing, but you can judge for yourself. They are both available at Target. The Mini Brand Balls are $7 each, and the Outdoor Survival Kit was $15.00, but you most likely won't be rushing out to buy one of those after you watch this week's show.

And if you live in the US, you'll also get an autographed 38+ year old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live outside of US, I can autograph an Alfred E. Neuman photo to you, scan it & email you a high res copy if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it's a copy. We've tested it out and fans say they look terrific! If you submitting warehouse videos for a second, third time, etc., you'll get the current issue of MAD as a thank you.
