It's half of a patio umbrella stand, but it cost about the same as half, or even some whole patio umbrellas!

I bought the Outsunny Half Round Umbrella Basefor my backyard and I'm using in it way I don't think the company recommends. It says something like 'use umbrella base up against a wall or support. I'm using mine as a way to be able to walk into the backyard without tripping over, or going around the full size umbrella stand I was using. Having a half umbrella stand gives me a clearer path. My umbrella has some support from the backyard fence, so it doesn't totally depend on the Outsunny base for support. This device is lightweight when you get it, but then you fill it with sand or water. It has a 40lb capacity for water or 46lb for sand. It comes with a spacer so it can fit 1.5" or 2" umbrella poles. It's designed with two tightening knobs to secure the umbrella pole. The patio umbrella HDPE base (I have no idea what HDPE is) and steel pole are said to be outdoor ready. I sure hope so! Overall Dimensions: 19.75" L x 12.25" W x 13.75" H. Assembly required, which merely means screwing a plate on the bottom of the device to hold the steel umbrella pipe in place. MSRP: $49.99, which is what I paid.
