What? The Giz Wiz (and MAD's Maddest Writer) Buys A Subscription To Guess What Magazine!

The Usual Gang of Idiots gets two free copies of MAD Magazine each time a new issue comes out. Yes, MAD is still publishing, but it is mostly reprints from a variety of old issues. I actually don't mind that because I see a lot of articles I missed the first time, or I see articles from MAD magazines that were published before I became a fan of MAD, and started writing for the magazine. These days MAD is only available at comic book stores, or via subscription from DC Comics. You do save $ over the $5.99 Cheap! single issue comic book store price with a subscription. But when I went to the DC Comics page I saw a way to 'get a free subscription' by buying some MAD merchandise. And that's what I did. I spent $29.99. Was it worth it?
