We Play A Quick “What The Heck Is It?” On The Show.

We played a quickie What The Heck Is on this week’s show and surprising it wasn’t guessed as quickly as I thought.

The gadget is the Joseph Joseph Can-Do Compact Can Opener. And it is a compact can opener with unique, circular shape that does make it look like a kitchen timer as some peole guessed. What is really about it is space-saving design. Instead of having a big, clunky can opener in a drawer this takes up a tiny bit of space being only 2.6” X 2” X 2”. Chad remarked how easy this would be to drop into a backpack for a camping trip.

The opener automatically grips can edge as you start to twist the know. The knob is big and the device has places to grasp it tightly. As you twist it cuts easily through the can lid. Then there’s an Easy-Press lid-release button that drops the lid from the opener. It cuts the whole lid off and you should exercise caution with the opened can. But I did not find a sharp edge on the can I opened. It should be easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. When I bought mine it was justs $7.99 on Amazon. (Be aware another seller had it for $27.00)
