Actually, there is at least one feature I've never seen in a crank-solar charged radio before. From The Giz Wiz: Although this radio has 7 NOAA radio stations it does not have NOAA Emergency Weather Alert (S.A.M.E. localized programming). That is available on weather radios in the higher $$ range and once programmed lets you know about storms, hazards in your area. The feature I never saw before on one these devices is the LED area light with an 'auto-on/off switch'. Perfect if you get in the middle of the night, the light goes on & stays on until motion stops. Then it shuts after 30 seconds later. It also has a push-button emergency button to attract attention with light and sound. This emergency gadget got excellent reviews on Amazon as of 8/28/20. It retails for under $30.
