APC Goes A Bit Weird With Their New Surge Protector. (At least to me.)

When I saw this new U-shaped APC Surge Protector Power Station, I was intrigued because it just looked weird. So weird in fact, I spent $36 to see one in person. It has 6 AC Outlets / 1 USB C + 2 USB A Charging Ports. Charging Ports provide 4. 8A total charging power (sufficient for charging smartphones & tablets, but not computers). The box says there's a $50,000 equipment protection policy. One Amazon description says $5, but box says $50,000. This APC surge protector is recommended for use with Desk, monitor base, or office partitions, but you judge how useful it might be as you watch this week's show. A version is also available with 4 USB Type A charging ports and no type-C charging port. Available in black or white. I paid about $35, but the price is all over the place. Also, be sure to check out the white version which was about half the price of the black version when I checked.
