Chad did it about a year and half ago, but people had fun seeing what Chad ended up buying, so they picked that theme again. Chad's first Cheap Thrift Store Gadget is the Toastmaster Electric Bagel Slicer. As you'll see on this week's show, it works really well, but it's also a big appliance for something that does that one single chore. Chad said he likes it, but he won't have out on the kitchen counter on a regular basis, just when he's in a bagel mood. And search ebay it turns out Chad found a real bargain. Used electric bagel slicers from Toastmaster were selling from about $35 to $50. Chad's price? He paid $7.99 at his local thrift store.
