Chad's Crappy Corner & his new June gadget theme as voted on by our loyal Patreon members.

Chad's June Gadget Theme is “Cheap Funny, Humorous Gadgets” and the first one is The Switchblade Spork! Now only is this a 'cheap and dunb gadget', the listing for it on Archie Mcphee is pretty funny too. Here it is:

THE WEAPON OF CHOICE FOR JUVENILE DELINQUENT CHEFS

Survival in the epicurean jungle was a matter of brawn and culinary skill, in which mastery of the Switchblade Spork was king. Gangs of sous-chefs and line cooks ruled the streets and no food was safe from the steely glint of their sporks. This metal and plastic utensil snaps open with the push of a button to 11" long and also feature a safety lock to prevent unexpected deployment. Only tough way to eat chicken nuggets. Be armed in a food fight. On the Archie McPhee website it's $7.00, but there's S&H. Chad found it a Hobbyland store for $7.99. It's on Amazon, but there it's a lot more:

And Chad's take: Chad thought it was a funny idea, but there's not too much to do with once the joke wears off. But as you'll see in this week's video, you can actually use it to eat. But Chad was disappointed to learn the spork doesn't lock into the open position, nor does it separate from the plastic handle. So for a laugh it's worth $7 or $8, but the not almost twice that on Amazon.
