The Giz Wiz Show 1691, September 7th 2018 Independent Show #174

The Giz Wiz Show is in it's 13th year of production, and the fourth year of Independent Production! (The first show was February 20th, 2006.) Thanks to our wonderful Patreon supporters we continue on! If it wasn't for them, the Giz Wiz Show would be gone. If you'd like to support OMGchad & DickDe in our independent venture (we pay for everything ourselves, including travel) just click the Patreon link at the top of our show web page: http://www.gizwiz.tv  You can also contribute just once via the PayPal link that's there too. And thank you for doing that! Our show wouldn't exist without our viewer's support, but a bit more support would be a big help. Thanks from OMGchad & DickDe!)

Swiffer Continuous Clean - Does It Really Work? We test it out.

A while back we saw and reported on the The Swiffer Continuous Clean.A device designed to help keep room surfaces clean and dust-free. And why is it branded “Swiffer”? Because it uses a unique filter made of genuine Swiffer material. This material is designed to Trap + Lock™ dirt, dust and pet dander without creating a high back-pressure. It is virtually silent, and uses only 3.5 watts of electricity (less than a night light) so it costs less than 2¢ per day to operate! Filters last about 30 days depending on air quality, and cost just about $5 to replace. So instead of dusting with a Swiffer this device runs continuously 24/7 to effectively capture dust before it settles on room surfaces. But does it work? That's what we learn on this episode of the Giz Wiz. They sent me a unit so I could see for myself (and our audience) how it pulls dirt out of the air. Be sure to see the 'before' and 'after filter'. The 'after filter was in the unit for about 3 full weeks, or may a few days longer. We were impressed.
