Subject: Orbit card gadget!
Hey Dick and Chad,
About a month ago you mentioned the Tile tracker and were talking about other tracking devices and wished there was one for a wallet. Well, here's the one I use, because it's exactly the same size as a credit card. It's called the Orbit (linked below) and you can use it to 1) Find your wallet, 2) Find your phone, or 3) Take a selfie. It works up to about 75-100ft away in my testing and makes a plenty loud enough sound for me to hear it when I'm looking for my wallet. And if the card disconnects from your phone due to being out of range or battery, the app will still show the last known location that it logged. I've used this for all 3 functions and it works great. Also, through pure coincidence, I discovered that this was also one of Oprah's Favorite Things last year, although that's not why I bought it. But if Oprah loves it, you know it's good right? =)
p.s. The one thing I didn't mention in the video that it can also do is send an alarm if/when it gets separated from the phone (I think the Tile does this as well) so if you always have your wallet and your phone together, you can turn that alarm setting on and it will also ring when they get separated from the bluetooth connection and could help you know when you've perhaps left your wallet/ behind.

p.p.s: People also always ask me where I got my wallet cuz they seem to like the pull tab feature, so just in case anyone is wondering that, here you go: https://www.distilunion.com/products/wally-bifold?variant=27569642632

We’d love to include your video in an upcoming Giz Wiz Show, so here's what we're looking for! Your home shot video – 2 to 3 minutes long, in any of the following categories:
I bought a piece of crap: Did you buy something you ended up hating? We won't get you a refund, but we might be able to give a platform to vent your disappointment. Remember, "family friendly" language applies.
-
I invented this! Did you invent something? (Or did a friend or relative invent something.) We can't market it for you, but we can help get the word out. Show us what it is, and how it works. Even if it's a prototype, you can get our (and the audience) reactions. No professional ads please.
-
My Gadget Warehouse: Okay, so you don't have a warehouse. It doesn't matter. Just tell us about your favorite old gadget(s). When and where you bought it, and why you're still hanging on to it.
-
My Favorite Gadget (favorite old, or favorite new): Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be a new gadget you just bought too.
-
Post them on YouTube and send us the link! We'll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that's unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long! Low production value is fine, but we should be able to hear you and see you! If we select and show your video on The Giz Wiz you’ll earn a tiny amount of fame (hopefully). And if you live in the US, you'll also get an autographed 35-year-old Alfred E. Neuman picture and a MAD surprise (most likely the current issue of MAD.) But no matter where you live, I canemail an autographed to you Alfred E. Neuman photo if we show your video. Just print it out, frame it, or just hang it up and no one will know it's a copy. We've tested it out and fans say they look terrific!
All show submissions go to mail@gizwiz.tv

Letter of the week:
It's not a letter of week, but info from a press release about a new product that will help those who have lots of HDMI gadgets plugged into their HDTV.
Take a look:

There's a 59 second video there that explains it all. I think it's clever, and at a price that not too high.
