Chad's Crappy Corner & His Final Gadget For His March Theme!

Chad polled our loyal Patreon members and asked them to vote on his theme for March. They picked “Inexpensive Garden Gadgets”. Chad's final gadget of the month is the Orbit Hose Water Flow Meter. 

Here's what Amazon says about it: The Orbit Hose End Water Flow Mater is easy to use. It measures the water used, so you can save money and prevent over-watering your plants and lawn. The meter calculates both single-use and total water consumption and displays usage in gallons or liters. 

And Chad's take: Chad liked his. It looks like he got a real deal on it, paying just $7.99 at his local Home Depot. It seems to be about twice that elsewater, like $15.97 on Amazon. On Home Depot's website, it shows the device, but there was no price and no way to click “buy” so maybe they're discontinuing it. Chad showed us that it really easy to hook up to a standard 3/4" outdoor hose and faucet.  They are only two buttons on the device. One to clear the water used for a the current session and one to clear the history of water used. They also allow you to chose water usage in gallons or liters. Chad showed us the back of the device which opens in case you have to replace the single CR2032 battery which is included with the device.
