Did you buy something on Black Friday?

I resisted, but then around 10 PM, I gave in and bought an Amazon Fire HD8 with Special Offers for $49.99. And ebates had an 8% cash back offer which dropped the price even further. But wait, there's more. Even at the price there was free one day shipping for Prime Members. It was amazing. Ordered it about 10 PM Friday night, had it in my hands by 1:30 PM Saturday! As you'll see in the video, that low price includes ads, tons of ads! I finally paid $15 + taxes to remove them on Amazon. The new Show Mode is nice since it lets you see notices from pretty far away. The new version offers a better front camera and can take a larger SD card. I thought it was a bit odd that everything is at the top edge of the tablet; charging port, headphone jack, volume and on/off tab.  As of this writing it's back to it's normal price $79.99 with Special Offers, or about $95.00 more ad-free.
