Chad's Crappy Corner And His Final Gadget For His August Theme. (We recorded this show Aug. 31st.)

This is Chad's final “Cheap Gadgets From Thrift Stores” item, his theme for August. (We recorded this show the last day of August.) It's has one of the stranger names: Ji Ga Zo. And here's a bit of what Amazon says about it: Take puzzle making to revolutionary new heights with Ji Ga Zo, Hasbro's amazing new puzzle game. Ji Ga Zo lets you create mosaic-style pictures of anyone--from the Mona Lisa to your best friend--all with the same 300 pieces. As long as you have a digital image, Ji Ga Zo can turn it into a puzzle. Ji Ga Zo is recommended for puzzle-makers ages eight and up, and it requires a personal computer and printer.
And Chad's take: Chad thought it was a clever item and said it's unlike any other jigsaw puzzle you know - all the puzzle piece are the shape! Take any digital image and turn into a puzzle, all with the same 300 pieces. The Ji Ga Zo puzzle pieces have special shading that lets them create almost any face image. Each piece is marked on the reverse side with a unique icon for reference in creating your puzzle. Actually, it's sort of complicated, so watch Chad's do the demo on this show. He used an Alfred E. Neuman photo for his puzzle. (Yes, MAD's mascot.) The puzzles are in sepia, and not very detailed, but Chad thought this is a fun project and he paid about $5 for it, still brand new in it's plastic wrapper.
