Chad's Crappy Corner & His New Theme For March, 2017

Chad polled our great Patreon members to pick a theme for his March “Chad's Crappy (or sometimes not so crappy) Corner. They picked “Security Gadgets”. Chad's 1st Security Guard is a can of “Pringles”. What? Read on. Okay, it's looks like a can of Pringles you'd buy at the store, but it's actually a safe! Here's what Amazon says about it:

This is the ultimate in dorm "stash safe." You can hide anything in this Pringles safe and no one will ever suspect anything. Put in your closet or place of storage and your items will be safe from all who are unaware of the stash inside. Has Real Pringles in the can. You can still "Pop the Top!" RA's and thiefs will have no idea what you may be hiding. Research shows that a burglar spends an average of 8 minutes in the victim's home. Put the odds in your favor...hide your valuables in plain sight. The diversion safes are a unique home-security product. We offer a wide variety of personal care, household products and food containers with removable tops and bottoms. Valuables can be discreetly stored inside these look-a-like containers and kept in their seemingly rightful places. Each in indistinguishable from the genuine product and is even weighted to feel full.

And Chad's Take? Chad thought this was pretty neat. That's why he spent $20 on it at his local Spy Center store. Not only does it look like a can of Pringles, but if you shake it, it sounds like there are Pringles inside. As Chad noted, it may sound different depending on what you hide inside, but whatever shakes is not inside the space left for you to hide cash, keys, etc. This mini safe opens from the bottom, so the top stays looking like an unopened can of Pringles. Except for people who watch this episode, no one will guess your Pringles is your secret hiding place. Although Chad paid $20, someone in our chatroom found it cheaper on Amazon so search there.

Chad bought his at one of this company's actual stores: http://www.spycenter.com/
