Perhaps the most unusual gadget I saw at the 2016 National Hardware Show.

Never drop your sandpaper again....

This was one of the more unusual gadgets I found at the National Hardware Show. It's called the

Peel & Stick Sanding Glove Price. The inventor says it's a new way to sand! (I've never seen anything like this before.) The Peel & Stick Sanding gloves have a permanent attached barrier to which you attach die cut sandpaper which resembles the outline of your hand. That way you can sand without having to hand the paper. It looks like it would be great to sand odd-shaped objects. And the detachable sandpaper allows the user to easily change the grits of sandpaper and use the same glove multiple times. The replacement sandpaper is offered in multiple grits making it an excellent for most all sanding jobs. The kit includes a pair of gloves, right hand and left and 3 grits of sandpaper. It's not on Amazon yet, but the inventor said it would be soon, and he expected the kit to be under $20. There's a short video at the company website.
