Chad's Crappy Corner and another gadgets for his February theme: Office Gadgets.

Chad emailed our loyal (and much appreciated) Patreon supporters and asked them to pick a February, 2016 theme of the month they would like to see. They voted and picked cheap office gadgets. 

And Chad's pick of the week is the Desktop / Tabletop, Coffee Tea Beverage Warmer by Intertek. Here's what Amazon said about it: Keep your drink warm! •Non Stick Coated Heating Surface •Power On Light Idicator •Hi/Low Temp Function •Slim Stylish Gray.

And Chad's take? Well, as Chad showed us, this coffee warmer is really is a piece of crap. After it was plugged in for a bit, Chad said it felt like it might just be able to keep your coffee luke warm. And that was on the 'high' setting. I asked Chad to check the wattage of the device, and it was 9 watts, not very much. And it cost $18.00. But then the chat room suggested the Mr. Coffee Mug Warmer instead. And it turns out I do too. It's the one I use daily and it works great. It doesn't have a high/low setting, but it does keep coffee hot enough to be enjoyable for a long time. And it's 17 watts, almost twice the power of the one Chad bought. But wait there's more. When Chad went back to the page on Amazon where he ordered his, it said: “No longer available”. But that's okay, because it turns out the Mr. Coffee Mug Warmer, which got great review is cheaper.
