Chad's Crappy Corner & His Final 'Under $5' Gadget, His Theme For November.

What a coincidence. Chad didn't know I was going to report on the new MSI VR capable computers, but it fits right in with Chad's cheap $5 and under gadget this week. While the MSI VR computers start at about $900, Chad's gadget was just $5. It's the Virtual Reality 3D headset, once again from Five and Below.
Here's what Five and Below says about it online. (Link below.) The Virtual Reality 3D headset (SKU 2709160) Jump into your own reality w/ this virtual reality 3d headset. And Chad's take: When Chad first unboxed the VR Headset, it looked like it cost a lot more than $5. Chad pointed out that some VR Masks cost $150 (more & less) and offer a lot of more adjustments, but for $5 this was pretty good. Pretty good, but not without any faults. The rubbery pad at the back of the device which holds the smart phone steady was glued on at a slight angle and didn't seem to always hold Chad's phone straight. Chad has one of the bigger iPhones. I think he said it was the 6S. Although the ad on Five Below says app included, Chad didn't see one, but he found several free VR apps in the Apple app store. (Google Play has VR apps too.) Chad showed us that the VR Mask included two cards that could be scanned with a smart phone to get VR free games. Perhaps one of those cards also includes a free app. All-in-all Chad thought was a pretty decent value for just $5.
It also seems to be on Amazon (it shows the exact same box as Chad showed) but it's $10.99 with free shipping for Prime Members:
