Dick's Gadget Warehouse & Another Viewer's Video. Plus how to submit yours!

Here’s the email we received from Rob about his favorite gadget of all time. (I put Rob’s video in the Gadget Warehouse section because a year or two from now, that’s just where it just might end up!) 

Hey Dick and Leo its Rob, gigatigga in the chatroom! long time fan from as far back as episode one of the DAILY giz wiz. And Leo clear back in the TechTv days. Boy do i miss the netcam network! Anyway i wanted to share my favorite gadget of all time, my Alienware M14x R2. I have had it almost a year now and i have had nothing but a blast with it! No i am no laptop notice, i have owned probably 20 or 30 laptops in my life, and i'm only 27. I subscribe to "when leo gets a new one, its time for me to get a new one" :)  

Now to the specs: It has a Intel i7 Quad Core 3610QM, 16gb of sysem memory, an nvidia 650m 2Gb model, a bluray reader along with dvd writer, it has a klipsch sound system and even a sub woofer on the bottom! It has the ability to run 3 displays at one time, also has a pretty nice 1600x900 screen resolution. At 14inch this i think is one of the perfect resolution for mobile gaming. Enough pixels to look nice, but not too many to push and bring down your frame rates. All within a 14 inch note book that weighs less than 6.5 pounds?? I carry it with me almost everywhere, even play games on it on the bus! Oh yeah, and if you're wanting to use it like an ultra book you can get almost 6 hours of battery from it, can you believe that?? Anyway guys, this was my first attempt at creating any sort of online video so forgive the quality, i did want to mention this was shot on my iphone 5.

My favorite gadget of all time! Show us what it is, tell us what it does and why you love, or loved it! It can be something you just bought too.

Post them on YouTube and send our producer, Jason, the link! We'll do the rest. (Or possibly nothing, but that's unlikely.) Remember, videos should be just 2 to 3 minutes long, 4 MAX! Low production value is fine. Even welcomed! That way our stuff doesn't look bad by comparison. We've set the bar low. Don't trip over it.
