    Traveling with kids?

Then the LilGadgets headphones are an ideal choice. Made especially for kids, they are perfect for long road trips or flights. Three different styles, including one Bluetooth model, all feature kid safe volume limits (

max volume is set at 93db) and something the company calls Share Ports.  The Share Ports lets kids connect multiple headphones to a single device in a daisy-chain fashion without needing an audio hub. Pictured on the left is the model the company calls The Untangled Pro. It's a high-quality Bluetooth wireless children’s headphone, featuring the integrated SharePort to make sharing a little easier between kiddos. Each pair comes with a high quality microfiber travel pouch, a four foot premium nylon braided 3.5 millimeter audio cable with an inline microphone and a micro-USB charging cable. It's constructed out of a high quality polycarbonate, stainless steel and covered with comfortable SoftTouch Fabric. Fully charged, the Untangled Pro has a 12 hour battery life with 180 hours on standby. Recommended for ages 4+. Safety First: Volume limited to 93db and complies with the strict 'Standard Consumer Safety Specification on Toy Safety' regulation. MSRP $49. Other models start as low as under $20.

This cart can help you move things up and down stairs.

originally saw the first UpLift Cartat the National Hardware Show a few years ago, probably 2016. Since then they've introduced two newer models, one of which I showed on World News Now. It's the UpCart VersaTrolley. The company says it's significant because it is the most lightweight and compact cart in their product line, folding completely flat for easy storage. But yes,it's still capable of reducing effort while going up and down stairs or traversing rough terrain. This new UpCart folds to 4.5 inches flat and weighs in at 8 pounds and about 6 ounces according my postage scale. Even with its ability to be compactly stored it still offers a 77 pound weight capacity. But wait, there's more. It also comes with a custom-fitted bag to help transport anything from groceries to laundry. I like the fact that you can the bag off and use the handles to hold it, while you fold up the cart to ride public transportation. It's $79.99 and available June 2019. I was on the company website 3/19/19 and it's available for preorder for about $69.99, shipping in June. The lower price could end at time. Not shown but also new is the UpCart Lift which the company says is a powerhouse of a hand truck that’s light, easy to maneuver and readily hauls up to 200 lbs. over uneven surfaces. It’s the first folding hand truck to offer an all-terrain stair climbing chassis. Another  advantage is that it features the tallest handle in its class. That's great because most of the time the load your handling is a step below where you're standing and you won't have to bend over. This cart too folds flat in seconds for convenient storage. It's $99.99 and available now.

Leaf Scoops! A great invention for cleaning up small debris in the yard.

    Bully Tool Leaf Scoops

are great for scooping piles of leaves, sticks, etc. and dropping them directly into trash bin. I'm using them in my in backyard to scoop up all the leaves, mini branches junk that dropped into the yard over this windy winter. It's one of those "I wish I bought these a long time ago" gadgets. They measures 14.625" wide by 3.75" deep with a total tool length of 12.5". They're made of Poly (I guess that's a kind of plastic) but they seem very durable. They're also very inexpensive.

Some expensive help with spring flowers - all-year round plants too.

It's the 3-in-1 Soil Moisture/Light/pH Tester. I have one plant that hangs from the ceiling and I can't reach up to touch the soil without a step ladder. So I thought if I used one of these devices it would be easier to know when to add water by looking at the display. They're said to work with indoor or outdoor plants. They're designed to tell you when your plants need water, if they're getting enough light and when to water them. You have to do some research to find out what the pH and light requirements are for your particular plant, but I use mine mainly to tell me when my plants need to be watered. They don't require batteries or any kind of power to work. I bought two different kinds to see the difference and they both work the same. You click a switch to pick “moisture”, “light” or “pH”.

This is the one I liked better and it turned out to be the most inexpensive.

And my CES spot as seen on air is here: https://abcnews.go.com/WNN/video/ces-high-tech-gadgets-60535772

We start with one of the real attention-getters at the show. The Royale Flexpai foldable smartphone/tablet.

Billed as the world’s first commercial foldable smartphone, it's a combination of mobile phone and tablet. This is Royole’s 2nd generation, ultrathin, fully flexible display that can be used folded or unfolded. Now you have the portability of a smartphone, plus the 7.8” screen size of a high-definition tablet. The flexible display has a 4:3 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1440 resolution. When folded, you have three screens available; front, back and edge. The edge screen displays notifications for incoming calls, emails, and messages. The device also includes two high-res cameras with 20 and 16 megapixels that can be bent to capture objects at unique angles. When folded, incoming calls or photos can be conveniently taken from either side. A consumer version should be available later in the year. (It's already on sale in China.) If you're in a hurry to be first you can preorder the developer model. The 128GB model is $1,318.00 and the 256 GB model is $1469.00. The company says it ships in 60-90 days.
