Here's A Handy Rechargeable LED Bulb Great For Emergencies!

With Jackonlux LED bulb you can certainly make it look like it is. As you'll see on this week's show, the bulb comes with a little plastic gadget that looks like a mini outlet. Plug your lamp into it and yes, it will light! That's because the JackonLux bulb is a combination of a regular led bulb and a power outage light. It works as regular led bulb when connected to
120V voltage, AND it will light on automatically if there is power outage. Being and LED bulb it uses just 9 watts, which is a 60W Equivalent. I bought the soft white 3000K version. Charging Time is 8-10 hours and that happens all the time you're use the bulb as a regular light. Once it's fully charged, charging automatically stops. It's a standard E26 base, just like a regular light bulb you normally use. Included with the bulb is screw on cap. Remove the bulb from a lamp, screw on the cap and control on / off by the built-in switch. Strangely you can also use fingers or a wet tissue on the bulb base to turn it on and off. Yes, I tried that too and it works. When there's a power outage, if the switch is on, the bulb will stay on as emergency led light, if switch off, the bulb will be off, but you can turn it on and off.

Note: It may not work properly when connected to a powerstrip. But when plugged directly into an outlet it immediately stayed on when I tripped the circuit breaker. It has to be on to stay on. If it's off, it will stay off until you turn it on. That way if the power goes out while you're not home the battery will not be wasting power. I bought the two pack for $17.99 on Amazon.

Forget The Dustbuster, Black+Decker has the Bev Maker!

Bev by Black + Decker – A couple of months ago I reported on the Hamilton Beach automatic bartender. At CES 2022 found a different auto drink maker from Black + Decker called Bev. Bev lets you use your own bottles of liquor (750 ml bottles) by inserting a straw from the machine into each liquor bottle. Then you need one more thing, a Bartesian capsule. The capsule (like a kind of K-cup) adds juices, bitters and and whatever else your mixed drink requires. Before you make your drink you pick the cocktail strength, from mocktail to strong. And they there are the LED lights! They uplight your bottles as it removes liquor from them, or in ‘Party Mode’ where the bottles light up in sequence. No mirrored ball needed. Bartesian makes the pods and the company has dozens of varieties. They average about $3 when bought in packs. Black + Decker Bev is expected out in May. MSRP: $299.

It does stop spinning after like 30 minutes, but it's easy to get it a gentle hand spin to get it going again. It's AC powered with no on/off switch. You get a little plastic tool to help you have your glove floating in air rather quickly. You'll see it all on this week's show!
