Another one of Chad's favorites!

For this week’s show Chad picks the Cuisipro Mini Ice Cream Sandwich Maker. Here’s what Amazon says about it: Making delicious ice cream sandwiches has never been easier with the Cuisipro Mini Ice Cream Sandwich Maker. It's easy to use; just cut, scoop, cut and press. Make endless combinations of cookies and ice cream flavors to create that perfect treat. Enjoy making delectable frozen desserts that are fun to eat and even more fun to make. Unique - brand new way to create ice cream sandwiches at home, using regular store bought items, nothing fancy required to create endless combinations. Fun included - comes as a set of three fun shapes; Heart, Star and Circle, including instructions and recipe book. Easy to use - effortlessly cut, scoop and create mini ice cream sandwiches using one tool, even kids can use it!  Price $12.41 and on Amazon Prime as of 9/25/14.

And Chad’s take: Chad liked this device a LOT! He had fun making the mini-ice-cream sandwiches and even more fun eating them. He made them with both hard and soft cookies as you'll see in the video. When I asked Chad for a rating for the Cuisipro Mini Ice Cream Sandwich Maker he said: "A+!". But we both agree the name of the product is awful.

Chad's "Soap of the month" Feature.

This company makes an entire line of what they call "MANLY SCENTED SOAP".  At their website you can search by scent for soaps that smell like their versions of Bacon, Baseball Glove, Cash, Cannabis, Muscle Rub, Red Wine and dozens more! They're $6.95 a bar.

Here's what they say about one of their scented soaps: This will leave you speechless... we nailed it! This scent is so dead-on that even we can’t believe it! Smells identical to fresh dug up dirt ... Top Soil Scented Soap 3 oz. Bar $6.95.

So if you're looking for the company that made all the off-beat soaps in Chad's "Soap of the Month" feature, they're here:

Giz Wiz - Weird gadget list: Meet the TREWGrip Keyboard, the mobile Qwerty Keyboard.

Every couple of years someone decides they’ve come up with a new break-through design keyboard. Unfortunately, they are often wrong, because people don’t want to learn a whole new system of typing. The latest attempt is called the TREWGrip, and it doesn’t look or work like any keyboard you’ve used. While holding it, you almost feel like you could play “Lady of Spain” because it’s kind of like trying to play an accordion. Unlike an accordion, the center of the keyboard has a grip pad to hold your smart phone or small tablet. You hold the device in your palms with your fingers wrapped around the back where the keyboard is. That’s correct, you do not see your fingers or the keyboard. I am a pretty good touch typist, but this felt so strange I didn’t type any of the letters I thought I was on. Mark at the show said there’s a learning curve, but within an hour you should be able to start typing okay. On the front of the TREWGrip you see a copy of the keys in the back, and the ones you finger, light up. It’s Bluetooth enabled and Mark showed me how the built in gyroscope and accelerometer let you use it as a wireless cursor on a desktop computer. (Assuming it has Bluetooth.) The introduction price is $149, which I think it up there for a mobile keyboard. I doubt if they’ll sell many of the suggested retail of $250. Maybe I’ll be totally wrong and this will be a mega-hit. Maybe.

Giz Wiz Good List: Dim those darn bright LED pilot lights!

I love LED’s, except when I’m trying to sleep. LED’s seem to get brighter as you shut off the lights. For years I’ve been covering them with tissues to cut the glare. Recently I fouund an inexpensive solution calledLightdimsLightDims are small vinyl dots that cover the LED’s on gadgets and knock the glare way down. In about a minute I tamed four LED’s that annoyed me at night. The company even make ‘black out’ LightDims if you don’t want to see the LED at all. And they make large size LightDims if you want to darken a large LED display, like on the face of a clock. They’re an easy way to keep your electronics looking techie, while also performing a valuable function. The cheapest route to go is to get their 4 pack. The package includes Original Strength (Color Black) Dims 50- 80% of light -Black Out Edition (Color Black) Blocks 100% of light -Customizable Original Strength 9.5" Solid sheet, (Color Black) Dims 50-80% of light -Silver Edition (Color Silver metallic) Dims 80-90% of light designed to blend with aluminum metallic electronics like apple products. And there’s a 4-pack version you can buy which slips with no product label and the absence of some product information. That seems to be the most economical way to go. It’s what I bought. You get all four LightDims for $13.99 plus 99 cents shipping. You can find individual products on Amazon too.

UPDATE: 9/6/2014 - I just learned from LightDims that there is now a 5th variation. White LightDims for those who have white radios, devices, etc. and need to tone down the LED brightness on them.

Chad favorite pick is a gadget that lots of us went online and bought!

The LED Disco Bulbis popular popular right now. Almost everyone who sees one, love it. Turn any light fixture into a colorful party with this one bulb. You don’t need a mirrored ball, a motor to turn it, or spotlights to shine on the ball. The effect of all those things is built right into the LED Disco Bulb. Of course for the best effect, the darker the room, the better and the lighter the color of walls, the better too. The bulb can replace any standard bulb and the manufacturer says it can last up to 20,000 hours. You can find various models at Bed, Bath & Beyond (up to above $50) and lots of buying choices of the one I showed on WNN are available on Amazon. They sell anywhere from $4 and up. Be aware many of the lower priced bulbs ship from overseas and could take several weeks to arrive. The LED Disco Bulb is a perfect holiday gift that can be great for New Year's Eve.
