Your smart phone has a lot of features for travel.
And the newest smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S5, has a lot of great features. To start, you can unlock the Galaxy S5 with the touch of your finger. And super important for travel, capture moments as they happen with the only camera you’ll ever need. The 16-megapixel camera shoots in an instant. You can even edit, enhance and share pictures and video right from the smartphone. The fast auto focus makes it easy to frame and take split-second shots. You can even set the camera to automatically take a picture when you say “cheese” or “smile”! I love the brilliant 5.1” full HD Super AMOLED screen. And this is new too: Conserve your battery when it’s running low. Use the Ultra Power Saving Mode to turn the Galaxy S 5 screen to black and white and shut off nonessential apps, so you get the maximum battery life. This device also has a IP67 rating, which tests for dust intrusion and for water submersion up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. But keep in mind it’s not shockproof. Covers must be tightly closed. There is a ton more features like the heart monitor and the ability to shoot 4K video! And two features I must have in a smartphone are still here in the Galaxy S5; a micro SD card slot to add more memory, and a removable battery! The exact price will depend on the carrier you use. On Verizon, as of 4/21/14, they were offering 'buy one Galaxy S5, get one free!" Each phone must have a two-year contract and activation fee. The actual price is $249.99, with a $50 rebate. I don’t know when that offer will end but it seems amazing to me. Check your own carrier for the complete price details. You can see a lot more of the Galaxy S5 features on the Samsung website:
