Want to take your smart phone into the ocean, lake, stream, river, etc.?

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 is water resistant, but if you want to take it underwater, here’s a way to do it. Meet the Travelon Waterproof Phone Pouch. Uses static seal technology that is IPX8 Certified Waterproof and tested to 20 meters, which is approximately 65’. The company says “Your phone is fully functional in the pouch so the user can make and receive calls/texts/emails, take pictures, even video under water.” But I doubt if a cell signal travel very far underwater, and if you do get a call, if you try to speak, I think you’ll drown underwater. Texts should work, but I don’t know to what depth. A great feature of the Travelon Waterproof Pouch is that if you accidentally drop it into the water, the pouch will float on the water’s surface.
