Introduced at the Travel Goods Show in Chicago, is this newest luggage innovation. Called Truco Modular Luggage, this 3 piece-rolling suitcase can be separated into a rolling case, briefcase and tote. So at the airport you can roll the entire system along with ease. But when you board the plane and find the overhead storage is limited, just disconnect the front and top bag, and place them under your seat. Another advantage -- at your destination you could use one of the smaller pieces if you go off on a day trip, or just a day of shopping. The Main Piece, designed as a small size CarryOn, can be used as such for small trips. When used as the main piece of TRUCO, is recommended to pack all belongings that are less valuable and not needed during the flight. The Front Piece, designed as a briefcase, clicks to the front of the Main Piece to extend the size of the CarryOn serving as perfect space for your laptop or for additional garments. As part of the TRUCO concept, it can be detached from the Main Piece to be stored away under the seat or in your overhead compartment separate from the Main Piece if there is not enough room for both to fit in the storage area. The top Piece, designed as a Valuables Tote, clicks on the top of the nain piece and front piece to complete the full size Travel Utility CarryOn, providing the traveler a perfect bag to keep all the electronics, documents, and valuables. The Truco Modular Luggage set is under $200. It’s the first piece of luggage introduced by Balanzza, the folks famous for their luggage scales.
