Giz Wiz Show #1508! Recorded March 4th for playback March 5th, 2015.

Can you move objects with your brain waves?

Back at Toy Fair in 2009, Uncle Milton launched Star Wars -The Force Trainer. The object was to move and control an object with the power of your mind. (Mind not included.) Well now that the next generation of Star Wars movies will coming to a screen near you, Uncle Milton has upgraded the technology with Star Wars - The Force Trainer II: Hologram Experience. Once again you use your brain waves but this time instead of making a ball move up a cylinder, you have to move and control hologram images. Like the earlier game, it comes with a wireless headset with brainwave sensors designed to read the user’s level of concentration. The more you can focus, the more successful you will be in moving and controlling the 3-sided hologram image. The app is free with device.  There are 10 different Jedi training levels. Through software updates, new challenges can be added which will most likely happened the when the new Star Wars Movie is released in December 2015. The holographic base will be available this fall for under $130. (It needs an iPad or Android device to work. I asked about using my Galaxy S5, and the spokesperson at Uncle Milton said that would work fine.)  In early March, the Hologram Experience was not yet on the company website.
