Video of the Week - Are You Paying Attention To Me?

A couple of years ago at Toy Fair I got to play with Mattel’s Mind Flex game and Uncle Milton’s Star Wars Force Trainer. I wore a headset to play so I could use my “brain waves” to control the game. Then the company that helped bring those games to the marketplace, Neurosky, came out with a new mental exercise device called MindWave. The company said the MindWave headset takes decades of laboratory brainwave technology and puts it into a bundled software package for under $100. Now Neurosky measures your brainwave signals and attention levels in a whole (strange, and very funny) new way. Show everyone within sight what’s really on your mind, and impress your friends with some of the most advanced brainwave technology available! Necomimi’s Cat-Ears! Yep, put on your cat ears, let one sensor rest on your forehead, and connect the other sensor to your earlobe. It connects with a little clip, which I didn’t even feel when attached. Then anyone looking at you will most likely stare and laugh as your cat-like reactive movements show how interested or relaxed you are in real-time.

You can’t see what they’re doing when you’re wearing them unless you’re in front of mirror, but it was good to know my brain had enough activity to makethem move quite a bit!
