The Giz Wiz Asks You! > If you had to take a 10 hour airplane trip who would you want sitting next to you?

It can anyone, living, dead, famous or not! Give us the name a brief reason why this person would be the ideal seatmate.

    It should be fun!

    Thanks,
    Dick De

Morrison. I freak out on planes and he probably would be really mellow! LOL

No one. I'd use the seat next to me for all of my gadgets! : )

Jean Shepherd because he would keep me entertained with his stories and anecdotes.

I once flew to France sitting next to a young French woman who was going home to visit her parents. We spent all night talking about special education and France, and also teaching me to get by in French.

I wouldn't mind having that experience again.

Angelina Jolie, after 10 hours I'll either be married to her or adopted by her... or arrested. Wait 10 hours on a plane. I'm not going.

Either Stephen Fry or David Mitchell

This was moved here because it ended up in the wrong area:

Dick & Leo, of course. Bonnie Hunt , Steven Wright, or Bob Bergen (for laughs), Harlan Ellison, Leonard Nimoy, or Joe Straczynski to learn/experience something new.

Someone small and narcoleptic so I wouldn't be bothered too much and would have plenty of room to stretch out.

I'd want the guy who played Paul on Spin City sitting next to me. That way I could look at him the whole time and say, "Are we there yet?"

The late Carl Sagan. He just always struck me as an amazing man, and quite a good conversationalist - he made science palatable to everyone, and I would love to have time to question him endlessly (or at least for 10 hours!). RIP Carl!

Somebody living, of course. Somebody dead would stink too much.

Oh, all right, Warren Buffet. Might as well get a few investment tips for free since I couldn't afford to pay for having lunch with him!

Helen Keller. At least it will be quiet.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Talking quantum this and quantum that would make it seem a shorter trip.

The Giz Wiz on one side and Craig Ferguson on the other side. That would be one fun flight.

I'm with the people who said no one.
I'd feel rude ignoring someone while playing with the gadgets I'd have to bring with me for a flight that long.
